Advice To Plan The Best Wedding Ever - Relationship Articles ...

Most little girls dream of their wedding from a young age. The dress, the venue and the catering, everything has to be just so. The reality is that no matter the size of the budget or the number of the guests, whether it is formal or informal, weddings are a stressful affair. Here are some tips on how to preserve your sanity while organizing for your big day.

Make a beautiful wedding bouquet using flowers that grow on the side of the road! A bouquet that you or a loved one has made by hand will mean much more to you than one you purchased commercially. Weddings should be all about feelings, not about from what store you bought your bouquet.

If you're going to have children at your wedding, consider them when you choose your menu. If the items you really want to have aren't palatable to children, include some child-friendly items in a quantity that matches the number of children attending in your order to your caterer so they will be considered, too. Don't forget drinks!

When inviting parents to your wedding, consider what time it will be held if they're planning on bringing their kids. A night-time wedding with a reception that runs into the wee hours of the morning will not work well for children, so either move your ceremony to an earlier time or provide accommodation for children to have a nap during the reception.

Make sure to allow a cushion of time between your wedding and reception. Weddings almost always run late. Receptions usually must start on time. You typically book your reception from a particular start time, to a particular end time. If your wedding runs late, you might be paying for time that you and your guests cannot even enjoy.

Not looking forward to dancing the night away in those uncomfortable heels? Give flip flops a try. Buy some white flip flops for the bride, and colored flip flops for the bridesmaids too. This can help to make the reception more enjoyable, and the dance party last into the wee hours of the night.

If you are living in a transition home or if you and your spouse will move soon, then it is better to ask everyone for money instead of items. It can be very difficult to move a great deal of things, so it is better to leave the money in savings.

If you really want to have speeches at your wedding, keep them short. There is an award ceremony that limits speeches to four words, which would be a cute rule to have at your reception, but maybe too limiting. One suggestion is limiting them to just a few sentences, therefore no one gets bored and a large amount of time is not put into speeches.

Hopefully with all of the tips you just learned, you can not only make your wedding day go the way you want it to, but hopefully you've also learned some great to-do tips for your wedding as well. Just remember to stay positive to keep learning what you can for your big day.
